Aisling Mullan

Clinical Psychologist

Aisling completed her Masters of Clinical Psychology at the Queensland University of

Technology. She has experience working in a variety of settings including private practices, hospitals, and schools. Aisling is experienced in working with children, adolescents and adults providing assessments, assisting with diagnostic clarification, and delivering interventions for a wide range of presenting concerns. As addition to her role at Hinterland Psychology, Aisling also works as part of a multidisciplinary paediatric team in a hospital outpatient setting where she provides assessments and therapy to children and adolescents.

 

Aisling is experienced in assessing for neurodiverse presentations such as Autism and ADHD. She also enjoys providing cognitive and learning assessments to assess for areas of cognitive difficulty and strength, intellectual disability, and specific learning difficulties (e.g., dyslexia). She is trained in the administration and interpretation of a wide range of assessment tools, including the Autism Diagnostic Observation Schedule, Second Edition (ADOS-2).

In her role in Hinterland Psychology, Aisling provides a range of assessments to adults, adolescents and children (aged six and over) to explore cognitive and learning challenges, as well as assessing for Autism and ADHD. Aisling works collaboratively with clients to develop a shared understanding of presenting difficulties and provides practical recommendations to clients following the assessment.
